TL;DR: Don't be evil, don't abuse the service, and we'll all get along fine. You own your data, we provide the infrastructure.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Trix ("the Service"), operated by Zivrio AB ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Trix provides a memory-as-a-service API that allows developers to store, retrieve, and manage persistent memory for AI agents and applications. The Service includes:

  • REST API for memory operations
  • Client libraries (npm, Python, CLI)
  • Dashboard and management tools
  • Documentation and support resources

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Store illegal content or content that infringes on others' rights
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service for competing products without permission
  • Exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions
  • Store sensitive personal data without appropriate safeguards

5. Your Data

Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you store in Trix. We claim no ownership over your memories or content.

License to Us

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Service. We will not use your data for any other purpose.

Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • The legality of data you store
  • Obtaining necessary consents for personal data
  • Maintaining your own backups
  • Compliance with applicable data protection laws

6. API Usage & Rate Limits

  • Free tier: Subject to rate limits as documented
  • Paid plans: Higher limits as specified in your plan
  • We may throttle or suspend accounts that exceed limits
  • Rate limits may change with reasonable notice

7. Payment Terms

For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes

8. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
  • We are not liable for downtime or data loss

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Zivrio AB and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our name, logo, and product names are trademarks. You may not use them without prior written permission.

10. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in abusive behavior
  • Fail to pay applicable fees
  • Pose a security risk

We will provide reasonable notice unless immediate action is required.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zivrio AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zivrio AB from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
